A Flame Spray Gun is a thermal spraying tool used to melt wire or powder material and apply it as a coating onto a metal surface. It's the equipment behind zinc metalizing, corrosion protection coatings, and the repair of worn or damaged machine parts, without heating the base metal enough to warp or weaken it.
Vands Engineering Solutions manufactures and supplies flame spray guns for coating and surface repair work across India. As one of the established Flame Spray Gun Manufacturers in India, we build ours to give operators steady, controllable output, since an inconsistent flame or feed rate shows up directly in coating quality.
A flame spray gun uses a combustion flame, usually oxygen and acetylene, LPG, or propane, to melt a coating material fed into the gun as wire or powder. Once melted, the material is atomized with compressed air and sprayed onto the surface, where it solidifies almost immediately as a coating.
This process is often called a "cold process," even though it uses a flame, because the base metal stays relatively cool during application. That's what makes it useful for repair work and coating parts that can't handle heavy heat input without distorting or losing their properties. Wire flame spray guns work well on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and powder flame spray guns handle materials that are harder to feed in wire form, like ceramics and certain metal alloys.
If you're setting up a new blasting rig or replacing a worn control handle, we can help you find a dead man's switch that fits your equipment and keeps your operators safe.
